Over 80% of adults experience back pain to some degree. That number is disturbingly high. And it’s still not including younger athletes, children, or others who may have slipped through statistical cracks.
I started having back pain around age fifteen. The combination of my softball pitching and wearing poor shoes (budding plantar fasciitis) was all interconnected, making my lower back ache far earlier than normal. This pain and stress would be ongoing for me for many years, and to some extent still is. And unfortunately, I know I’m not alone.
Something I wish I had when I was younger was a product that alleviated some of that back pain.
And not just a massage, because although massages are amazing, they’re expensive. Or with the personal tools, it’s hard to get someone to treat you and often even harder to maneuver yourself! Not a menthol patch, because although I’ve used those on and off for many years, they don’t really reduce the stress in the muscle the way you hope. And not creams or wraps, because although those can work temporarily, they’re really only at the surface level.
I wanted (and my back needed) something more.
