5 Ingredient Strawberry-Vanilla Protein Shake

One of my biggest food flaws is that my diet never has enough protein. As hard as I try, I tend to always fall into the carb habits (they’re just so good, you know!) But something I’ve been working on is incorporating more protein in my diets—lean meats, nuts, protein shakes.

This is a suuuper easy and tasty recipe I randomly blended together that I love! It helps take the blah out of a regular protein shake. If you’re one of those people who hates the taste of protein, even flavored protein, if you’re picky, or if you just want to taste something that’s basically as good as an ice cream shake—check this out. You only need five ingredients!

Here’s what you need:

**Ingredients are for a single-serve shake, but you can modify if you’re making more by doubling/tripling the recipe!

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 scoops EAS vanilla protein powder (this is my preference, but feel free to use whatever brand suits you—vanilla for best results!)
  • ¼ cup vanilla soymilk

Add the ingredients to your blender (make sure there’s enough liquid! If not, add a bit more soymilk). Blend on high, and enjoy! If your shake is too creamy, adding a splash more milk will help with consistency.

Perfect for breakfast, post-workout, or in general for summer cooldown snack!
