You hold your breath, will yourself to be skinny, and eyes closed, you step on that little silver bathroom scale. You hear the numbers clicking in your head and you do a mental checklist:
Okay, I did my sit ups and squats. Ah, I shouldn’t have had that scoop of ice cream yesterday. I wonder if it will show. I have to be down at least two pounds in this week, I ran every day! Ugh, but I did have pizza on Tuesday. But it was only two slices!
